Leah Alper
Hello! My name is Leah Alper and I am a senior at the University of Arizona. I am majoring in Psychology with minors in both Music and Human Development and Family Science. Eventually, I hope to have a Masters in Social Work to become a full-time therapist. I am passionate about connecting with and serving a diverse range of communities, and deepening my knowledge of the ways social justice intersects with therapy both in theory and practice. On campus, I am the outreach coordinator for Active Minds, a mental health awareness and advocacy club, as well as a camp counselor for children with the non-profit club Camp Wildcat. I also currently work as an undergraduate intern for Tucson Counseling Associates, in which I complete administrative tasks, help with data collection projects, and assist clinicians in daily work.
