Lindsey Johnson
My name is Lindsey Johnson (they/she), and I am a senior at The University of Arizona.
I am majoring in psychological sciences and minoring in American Sign Language. My goal is to get my Masters in Social Work in order to eventually become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
On campus, I’m actively involved in the Franke Honors College, where I mentor incoming honors students. I also work as a tutor at the SALT center, supporting students with learning disabilities. Off campus, I dedicate my time as a house volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona and as a dog walker volunteer at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
I’m passionate about expanding my knowledge and deepening my empathy to better understand and connect with individuals from diverse communities.
I am currently working with Tucson Counseling Counseling Associates as an intern and desk assistant and I will be assisting the clinicians in the practice with day-to-day tasks such as billing, scheduling, project management, and clinical work.
