KAP Provider Trainings
Hello, and thank you for your interest!
One of our passions is training other providers to offer safe, ethical and meaningful psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy in a very therapy-forward manner. Guided by this intention, we have created a KAP protocol that utilizes Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Sensori-motor Psychotherapy. We also teach in a way that leaves lots of space for the individualized expression of the Internal Healer to guide from within (for both provider and client.) The training structure is as follows:
Step One: Self-paced videos:
Watch our virtual four-module course (check it out here).
Step Two: Intake
Book an experiential psychiatric evaluation with our medical provider.
Step Three: Experiential
Participate in an experiential session!

Meet our Trainers!

What is Ketamine?
Ketamine is an anesthetic that produces non-ordinary states of consciousness and neuroplasticity that, in the right setting, can help people process, release and heal from traumatic experiences and treatment resistant depression.
These trainings are for healthcare professionals who are interested in bringing Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy components into their current practice. Ketamine is a new groundbreaking and exciting tool for therapists to use in conjunction with their therapeutic skills to provide effective treatment for clients. The curriculum is taught by an experienced and knowledgeable team and the format is interactive between trainers and students.

What KAP providers had to say about our first experiential retreat:

“I wasn’t sure what to fully expect, although there was ample communication regarding what to expect, it was my first time experiencing a psychedelic. The care and attention by TCA was remarkable. I would describe my experience as transformational. I truly appreciate TCA for their efforts. I give permission to share my comments.”
Chuck Hinshaw, LCSW.
“Great team of facilitators who lead with integrity and commitment to compassion. They are doing the work themselves, not just teaching it, which I felt + appreciated. The group felt safe and contained. Highly recommend this training to anyone interested in ketamine assisted therapy. “
-Dr. Mini, Psy. D.
“Tucson Counseling Associates provided me the educational foundation, resources, and experiential opportunity so that I can ethically and safely incorporate KAP into my private practice. The experiential retreat really drove my confidence in providing this service.”
-Satina Conforti, LPC Activate Counseling Services
